Wow, our club continues to astound all who participate. Thank you to all the many volunteers who have made this club successful. JAKE EPP LIBRARY-SEED LIBRARY
The library in Steinbach is planning to add a Seed Library to their facilities. They are accepting all sorts of seeds - flowers, vegetables, herbs, grasses and native plants. They have empty seed packets at the library or use your own. Please include the following information on your donation:
- Year the seed was collected
- Common name and species (if name is too vague)
- For flowers/vegetables - colour and variety
Any other information the grower feels is relevant
April 22nd -Earth Day
How do you care for this beautiful earth?
Earth Day is an international day devoted to our planet. It draws attention to the environment and promotes conservation and sustainability.
Each year on 22 April, around 1 billion people around the world take action to raise awareness of the climate crisis and bring about behavioural change to protect the environment.
Walk about Wednesdays-July/august
Visit fellow members ' gardens, share ideas and get inspired.
